Epworth is a vibrant family of believers, open to all, whose purpose is to glorify God in all that we do. By the Holy Spirit, we strive to be mirrors of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to be devoted to creating disciples for Jesus Christ. We strive to make the good news available to anyone who desires to hear it. Grounded in Scripture, informed by Christian tradition, we are enlivened by personal experience and tested by reason. We believe in God--expressed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that we are creatures brought to life by a just and loving God who is in the present and future reality, and that God's grace is unearned and is loving action in daily life existing everywhere. We minister with Christ's love to heal and free others.
We are theologically diverse and open our minds to different faith journeys. We offer the traditional and blended forms of worship. We strive for unity amongst the denominations and we maintain activities in a variety of social causes with focus on dignity for all persons.
